Ibhar has been working closely with the Sugar Companies in states like Karnataka to help them in managing their cane procurement processes. Tab (Tablet PC) based Mobile Cane Management application assists the Cane Officers to spend more time with the cane growers and improve the availability of cane. Adequate time and attention can be given to the crop monitoring activities to improve crop yields and sugar recovery by providing timely information. Issues faced by the cane growers are recorded and addressed to ensure a win-win symbiotic relationship with the sugar factory in contract farming.
